As you would expect from us, there would be evening activities on Wednesday and Thursday evening. The evening activities are organized for exhibitors and visitors of the mushroom days.
Wednesday 25th of May; Welcome Event
It is our pleasure to announce that once again you can participate on the ‘Welcome Event’ of the Mushroom Days 2011.
You are welcome on 25th of May, from 17.00 at the main entrance of the Brabanthallen.
The program has the following activities:
17.00 – 17.30 Reception
17.30 -17.45 Opening
The evening will be opened by Mr. Piet Lempens, president of Mushroom Foundation.
17.45- 18.15 Guest Speaker Greg Seymour
Greg Seymour is an agricultural scientist by profession, a manager by pay cheque, and a marketer by passion. He fell in love with mushrooms some 14 years ago and the affair has never waned. He is currently General Manager of the Australian Mushroom Growers Association and President of the International Society for Mushroom Science.
Greg has spent the past decade developing and managing programs that have successfully created significant consumer demand for mushrooms in the Australian market. More recently he has been working on a global scale through the ISMS facilitated “Mushrooms and Health Global Initiative”.
Greg’s opening address at Mushroom Days will inspire the audience with some exciting opportunities and challenges for the development of the mushroom industry over the next thirty years. There will be something to excite every delegate as they begin to understand the possibilities the future holds for their own business.
Greg’s presentation will feature the latest consumer insights; mushrooms and health research; innovative product development, marketing and promotions highlights, and some wonderful humanitarian stories from around the world. He will also provide a glimpse of how the Australian industry has used these resources to create the consumer demand that has driven the spectacular development of the Australian market over the past 10 years.

An inspiring evening with a festive touch for visitor and the exhibitor of the Mushroom Days 2011!
Thursday 26th of May; Get Inspired Dinner Party
All visitorsand exhibitors of the Mushroom Days are invited for the ‘Get Inspired Dinner Party’. You will be picked up by bus at 18.00-18.30 at the Brabanthallen. The bus will bring you towards the beautiful location at the Orangerie.
The Orangerie is a stylish and high-profile location. This former church in the heart of 's-Hertogenbosch, between the shopping area, cafes and beautiful canals guarantees a night full of experiences.
During this evening The Orangerie will serve a buffet with various delicious dishes from North Brabant.
The entertainment will be provided by the band Crème Fresh. Crème Fresh is the ultimate party band which guarantees a lot of fun and dancing. When you don’t feel like dancing, there is enough to see. The band is a real swinging rhythm section; the band, two horns, two fantastic singers.
The evening ends at 23.00. You will be brought back towards the Brabanthallen by bus.
The cost for this evening amounts 90,- excl. VAT, per person. That includes transport, food and drinks.
